MINIBAR VENTILATION REQUIREMENTS
Very Important!
If the minibar is going to be incorporated into furniture, then it MUST have proper ventilation!
The minibar must not be installed closer than 120mm from the wall or situated close to any sources of heat (ie radiators, etc). (NB: Furniture housing the minibar should NOT be flush against the wall).
Air must be able to freely circulate around the cooling unit. The minibar should have ventilation grills under it (at least a surface of 200 cm2) - to allow cool air to enter the furniture at the base - and ventilation grills above the back by the aggregate unit - to allow the hot air to escape. Remember! Cool air in - hot air out!
MINIMUM FURNITURE DIMENSIONS
The minimum correct internal dimensions for furniture to house a minibar are as follows:
